SGA Austintashus (aka Austin) was born in 1992 here at Sugar Grove Arabians. Austin is very personable horse and loves to drink Mountain Dew. He craves attention and loves every little bit of it he gets. Austin was started under saddle by his amateur rider and is finishing his training under the direction of SGA's trainer, Steve Laird.
Austin is a very versatile horse, competing in several disciplines which include: western pleasure, halter, hunter pleasure, and trail. Austin will be introduced to sidesaddle in 2000. Austin has wins in all these divisions showing the athletic ability he possesses.
Austin's sire, SGA Sam Paso is a multi-champion in halter and performance. Sam is a grandson of *El Paso, the first million dollar horse imported from Poland, and National Champion Stallion. Sam's damline is mainly McCoy breeding.
Austin's dam, SGA Arielle Paso is also a multi-champion in halter and performance. Ari is a granddaughter of *El Paso.
